Engraving 565x432 mm. Second state of three before the Dancker's address. After Bartholomeus Spranger. Lettered on a stone below "CUM PRIVIL / S. CÆS.M.ties SEX". In the centre of the margin a three line dedication to Joannes Baruitio from Spranger and Muller. On either side of the dedication two columns of text, each four lines "Hei mihi! .... ecce, iacet."
A very fine, richly contrasting impression. Trimmed to platemark on three sides and margin of c. 10 mm at the botton. Old horizontal centre crease visible mainly on verso; minor defects and repairs, otherwise in very good condition.
