Etching with engraving 369x549 mm. Second state of three, before the number "37" in upper left. (Succi reports about an unfinished first state). Related to a painting by Giombattista Tiepolo, now at The Metropolitan Museum of New York, but remained in situ at Barbaro Palace in Venice until c. 1870. Lettered along bottom"Joannes Batta Tiepolo inv: et pinx. Io. Dominicus Filius del: et fecit."
A very fine, clear and harmonious impression. Trimmed irregualy on or outside the platemark. In excellent condition. Watermark: Letters "AS".
